Social Anxiety Support

Calming the Fear of Social Situations… One Pawstep at a Time

Feeling nervous in social situations is one thing. But when the fear of being judged, rejected or misunderstood stops you (or your child) from showing up in life… it’s time for support that truly understands.

We offer gentle, affirming sessions that combine canine-assisted learning with practical tools to reduce social anxiety and build authentic confidence. And the best part? You’re not doing it alone… our four-legged friends are right there beside you, offering calm, non-judgemental comfort every step of the way.

Who We Support

Our social anxiety sessions are ideal for:

🐾 Children who find school overwhelming or group settings scary

🐾 Teens who feel anxious about speaking up, making friends or being noticed

🐾 Adults who struggle with social situations at work, in groups or even in day-to-day life

🐾 Anyone who wants to feel more confident, calm and connected… but doesn’t know where to start

How The Social Anxiety Program Helps

We don’t believe in forcing confidence.

We believe in creating safety first… emotionally, physically and socially.

With the calming presence of an emotional support dog, we help participants:

✨ Reduce fear around social situations

✨ Learn body and brain-based techniques to manage anxiety

✨ Practise social skills in a gentle, pressure-free way

✨ Build confidence at their own pace

✨ Reframe negative self-talk and develop healthier thinking patterns

We don’t do roleplay, forced sharing or spotlight moments. Just calm, hands-on activities designed to help people feel seen, supported and slowly more secure in themselves.

Why Dogs?

Dogs are social geniuses… and they don’t care if you say the wrong thing, forget your words or don’t make eye contact.

Research shows that emotional support dogs can help:

✅ Lower cortisol (stress hormone)

✅ Increase oxytocin (the connection hormone)

✅ Regulate breathing and heart rate

✅ Help people feel more relaxed and emotionally safe

In short, our dogs help bridge the gap between fear and connection… making social growth feel natural, not forced.
